This Sunday, May 21, Gritty Jewelry goes to Georgetown. It’s time for the 10th Annual Rat Patrol and Piston Packin’ Mama’s Spring Opener. We fit in there like grease to gears. Look proper while peeping vintage cars and bikes wearing some hardcore, hand-crafted adornments.
This is a free event to attend, but it’ll cost you $25 to enter your car, or $10 for your bike or scooter. The proceeds go to Treehouse, a nonprofit that offers foster kids a decent childhood. They also provide these youngsters with enrichment and education programs so they can build a bright future.
Groove your hips to live music from Contraband Countryband, The Shovelheads, and Josephine Chopper. Drink responsibly-ish at the beer garden, buy all the stuff from the vendors, and enter some raffles. Everybody loves a raffle. Don’t act like you don’t. Swing by Gritty’s booth and chat with our very own Kim Merritt! I know, right?
Get your cans down to Georgetown between 12pm and 5pm this Sunday. The weather promises to be dry and warm, so you probably want to be outside anyway. Do it!
